A problem we, as leather product manufacturers, have long faced is what to do with leather scraps and leftover leather.
The leather cut for products comes in various shapes and conditions, and it has been difficult to find ways to utilize it.
We are well aware that the very act of creating leather products has its pros and cons, but with the desire to start where we can, we will be planning and developing products that make full use of "leather," a limited and precious resource, right down to the very last piece.
This is what came out of that idea:

We will present original keychains made from scraps and leftover leather to customers who purchase from the Swaan Arlberg Online Shop or showroom.

The question arises: Is creating leather products sustainable in the first place?
Most of the animal hides used in leather making are byproducts of the meat industry.
It is about not wasting animal lives and using them completely.
Furthermore, we believe that making leather products that can be cherished for a long time by adding repairs and care, considering that leather products can last a long time with proper care, leads to sustainable manufacturing.
