SWAAN4RLBERG / The brand for the people who is wearing on it as T-shirts. With this key concept, we propose a minimalist design like that of a T-shirt.
Similarly, it is the mission of LABO to thoroughly re-examine shoe construction and achieve both design and comfortable wear.
We aim for a design in which the individuality of the person wearing SWAAN4RLBERG is reflected.

  • Wholecut with minimal seams

    Each pair of wholecut shoes, handcrafted by skilled artisans with minimal seams, gently cradles your feet.

  • Easy to wear barefoot

    One of the features of SWAAN4RLBERG is its lightness.
    Weighing approximately 240g, these shoes are so light you'll forget you're wearing them, putting no burden on your feet.
    The sole is made of cork, making them casual shoes that can be worn barefoot.

  • Enjoy a variety of colors

    The pursuit of "shoes like T-shirts" led to this simple form, allowing for enjoyment of various colors.
    They pair well with jeans, shorts, and even formal wear.

Manufacturing

Our highly creative and specialized staff members are not afraid to fail, and they challenge themselves daily with new projects and product development.

Because our products incorporate the strong commitment of artisans, the characteristics of the creator are reflected in the product.
The strengths, habits, preferences, and thoughts of the commissioned artisan... While their skills are undoubtedly flawless, it doesn't mean that the same product will be created no matter which artisan is commissioned. We find this "interesting."

Made with supple and beautiful genuine leather from Japan

Each pair is carefully crafted using luxurious Japanese leather.

We pursued a supple fit with a material that is lightweight, comfortable on the feet, and moderately elastic.

After detailed discussions with staff who understand the entire process from design to sales, skilled shoemakers in Japan, who are committed to comfort, carefully craft each pair by hand.

Our own factory

All of our Made-in-Japan models are crafted by shoemakers aged 20 to 50 at our own factory in Kojima, Kurashiki City, Okayama Prefecture.

We blend the traditions of good old craftsmanship with modern sensibilities, constantly striving to improve our manufacturing every day.
